FAQs
Q. How often should I service my outboard?
A. Marine engine manufacturers recommend that a service be carried out every 12 months or 100 hours of use, whichever should occur first. Preventative maintenance is the key to unnecessary break downs
Q. What information is required in order to book a service or repairs?
A. Aside from the obvious details like name, address, phone number and email address, detailed information about the engine will also be needed. A photo of the serial number plaque is invaluable to ensure that the correct parts are ordered.
Q. Where can I find my serial number plaque?
A. Engine manufacturers do not put the serial numbers in the same location unfortunately. Usually it will be located on or near one of the transom brackets. Some examples are shown below.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. Accepted payments are cash, credit/debit card or bank transfer.
